Sir Alex Ferguson has selected Wayne Rooney to start in his more familiar role of centre-forward for this evening's match at Swansea City.
The England international had recently been playing midfield, but Michael Carrick and Ryan Giggs fill that position for the Red Devils today.
Joe Allen has missed out for the Swans, with his position being taken by Leon Britton.
Danny Graham will play as a lone striker, while Scott Sinclair and Nathan Dyer provide the support.
Swansea: Vorm; Rangel, Monk, Williams, Taylor; Gower, Britton, Dyer, Routledge, Sinclair; Graham.
Man United: De Gea; Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra; Nani, Carrick, Park, Giggs; Rooney, Hernandez.
