Villarreal sporting director Jose Manuel Llaneza has dismissed reports that striker Giuseppe Rossi will join AC Milan this summer.
The Italy international has been strongly linked with a move to Italy, with Inter Milan, Juventus and Milan all said to be interested in him.
However, Llaneza insists that no deal has been struck with Milan over the transfer of Rossi.
"Rossi to Milan? This is the first I've heard of it, so what is there to say?" he said. "It is clear that there is nothing to say in regards to this. There is nothing."
Villarreal suffered relegation from La Liga last season and have already sold playmaker Borja Valero and defender Gonzalo Rodriguez to trim their wage bill.
