Half-Time Report: Wales still goalless against Bosnia-Herzegovina

Wales and Bosnia-Herzegovina share a goalless first half at the Cardiff City Stadium in their Euro 2016 qualifier.

Wales have headed into half time level with Bosnia-Herzegovina following a goalless first half in their Euro 2016 qualifier at the Cardiff City Stadium this evening.

The home side made a bright start to the match, with Gareth Bale trying to turn the ball in from a corner, only to see his effort blocked.

Bosnia tried to catch their opponents out with a quick counter-attack, but a long-range drive from Miralem Pjanic was pushed clear by Wayne Hennessey.

Bale was involved again inside the opening 15 minutes as Wales continued to enjoy the majority of the possession, but the Real Madrid man was unable to lob the ball beyond Asmir Begovic.

The visitors started to control the play, as Pjanic tried an effort from range which went narrowly wide before Vedad Ibisevic forced a save from Hennessey with a header.

Bosnia continued to press into the final moments, but Hennessey continued to make stops in the Wales goal, including denying Edin Dzeko in the final moments of the opening 45 minutes.

There was an injury worry for Chris Coleman shortly before the break as Bale appeared to be in some discomfort, but he was able to make it to the half-time whistle.
