New Wales coach Chris Coleman has said that he is not sure whether Craig Bellamy will end his international career after Wales's tribute friendly with Costa Rica tonight.
Bellamy has been handed the captaincy for the game following an injury to regular skipper Aaron Ramsey.
The Liverpool striker came out of international retirement to play under close friend Gary Speed, and reports have suggested that Bellamy will quit the national team after tonight's memorial friendly.
"Craig is an experienced player, a passionate Welshman who has still got lots to offer – but it's down to what Craig wants to do," Coleman said.
"I hope he remains because we, like any side, need a Craig Bellamy on and off the park and we'll be a better squad and team with him.
"He knows how important he is to us and I don't want to push him. It's his decision and it will be for him to come out and say yes or no."
Bellamy made his Wales debut in 1998.
