Winger Andrew Crofts has called upon the Wales squad to enhance the improvements that Gary Speed made during his spell in charge of the national team.
Speed, who took over the Dragons in 2010, was found hanged at his home earlier this month.
As a tribute the 42-year-old, Norwich attacker Crofts believes that current crop of Welsh internationals should strive to build upon Speed's work.
"Gary put the foundations in," Crofts told BBC Radio Norfolk.
"Hopefully we can pay that back to him as a tribute. That's what he'd like us to do."
Crofts, 27, has made 22 appearances for Wales.
