Swansea City and Wales defender Ashley Williams has expressed his delight over Chris Coleman's decision to sign a new contract as manager of the national side.
The Football Association of Wales announced the two-year deal in a press conference today.
The confirmation put to bed rumours that Coleman could have become the new manager of Premier League outfit Crystal Palace.
"I'm happy at the news," Wales Online quotes Williams as saying. "It's quite obvious around the squad that we enjoy working with him and being in camps and from my point of view always I've said that and always knew probably be the case so we're happy.
"There was a lot going on, reading what was being written in the media, but I never doubted he wouldn't stay because after a tough start you can see he's enjoying it and we enjoy working with him."
Coleman became the Wales boss last year following the death of Gary Speed.
