Watford have reportedly applied for extra time to finalise a deal for West Ham United midfielder Domingos Quina.
The 19-year-old, who was linked with a switch to Barcelona last month, is said to be at the Hornets' training ground where negotiations are ongoing.
According to Sky Sports News, Watford are hopeful of being granted a 7pm extension - two hours after the official deadline - so that they can get a move over the line.
A deal sheet has been submitted to the relevant body, which leaves it down to the West Ham youngster and Watford to reach an agreement on personal terms.
A separate report suggests that United recently offered Quina a new contract to fend off interest from other clubs.
