Roy Hodgson delighted with West Brom win

West Brom boss Roy Hodgson is delighted with his side's third consecutive Premier League win after their 1-0 victory over Chelsea at the Hawthorns.

West Bromwich Albion manager Roy Hodgson was delighted with his side's 1-0 win against Chelsea at the Hawthorns this afternoon.

Gareth McAuley's late goal was enough to secure a rare third consecutive Premier League win for the Baggies.

"It's not often you can win three straight games," Hodgson told Sky Sports News. "It hasn't happened too many times in my seven years in the Premier League.

"I can't think of any off the top of my head but hopefully there is if you dig deep enough.

"And we haven't exactly done it against weak opponents."

The three points have lifted West Brom up to ninth in the Premier League table.
