West Bromwich Albion defender Gareth McAuley believes that Jonas Olsson has returned to his "own high standards".
The Sweden international struggled towards the end of last season for the Baggies following an Achilles injury, but has received plaudits for his form in the 2013-14 campaign.
"He's been fantastic for us," the Express & Star quotes McAuley as saying.
"Last season he kept putting himself in the firing line for the club but he did have an injury.
"He had an issue and hopefully that has cleared up now and he's back to his own high standards."
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is said to have called Olsson a "mickey mouse player" in a tunnel bust-up following a 2-2 draw on November 9.
