West Bromwich Albion are said to be planning a move to sign Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen.
The 37-year-old, who is out of contract next month, has been at the Reebok Stadium for 14 seasons and made over 500 appearances for the Trotters.
However, he has not featured for the club since the 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers on New Year's Eve, having been displaced by Adam Bogdan.
The Baggies are in the hunt for a new goalkeeper after Ben Foster returned to Birmingham City following a season-long loan spell at The Hawthorns.
Bolton have reportedly offered Jaaskelainen a new contract, but will reject it and open official talks with West Brom as soon as they appoint a successor to Roy Hodgson, according to The Mirror.
Jaaskelainen recently revealed that Manchester United, Arsenal, Real Madrid and AC Milan had all expressed an interest in him during the past decade.
