West Ham United have confirmed the signing of midfielder Alex Kral from Russian outfit Spartak Moscow.
Kral, who featured for the Czech Republic at this summer's European Championships, will link up with international teammates Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal in East London after they reached the quarter-finals of Euro 2020.
The 23-year-old arrives as the Irons' second signing of the day, after they confirmed the permanent capture of Croatian midfielder Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow earlier on Tuesday.
Their latest addition arrives on an initial season-long loan deal, while David Moyes's side have an option to buy in the agreement.
Such a move comes after Kral made 53 appearances for Spartak Moscow, having arrived in Russia from Slavia Prague in 2019 - the year in which he also broke into the senior Czech national team.
