Jack Collison is the latest out-of-favour Premier League midfielder to be linked with an emergency loan move to Wigan Athletic.
Collison, 25, has appeared just nine times in the league for West Ham United this season, already spending a brief spell on loan at Bournemouth back in October.
According to talkSPORT, an agreement has been made between the two clubs and Collison could even play in Wigan's FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal next month.
Wigan are after a central midfielder following the long-term injuries to usual starters Ben Watson and Chris McCann and were recently linked with a bold move for Manchester City's Jack Rodwell.
Uwe Rosler's side have won six Championship games on the trot to move up into the playoff places.
