Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Richard Stearman has called the club's decision to appoint Terry Connor as manager the "perfect choice".
Caretaker boss Connor secured a point in his first game against Newcastle United last weekend, and Stearman has backed the appointment.
"We were all delighted for TC and you could see on the pitch we were working our socks off for him. He'll be delighted with the point as well ... he knows the boys inside out so in the end I think it was a perfect choice," the 24-year-old told the club's official website.
Wolves travel to Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday.
