Wolverhampton Wanderers will reportedly try to persuade Louie Sibley to make the switch to Molineux from Midlands rivals Derby County.
The England Under-17s international, comfortable playing at left-back or central midfield, is highly thought of at Pride Park.
Sibley has starred for Derby in the Premier League 2, scoring his fourth goal of the season against Manchester United earlier this week, but he has not had a look in at senior level.
The Sunday People suggests that the Burton-born youngster has been watched up close by Wolves scouts and the top-flight side are preparing a substantial offer in time of the January window.
Fellow England age-grade international Morgan Gibbs-White has appeared 14 times for Wanderers this term, including on 12 occasions in the Premier League.
