Catalan Dragons run in 12 tries on the way to thrashing Widnes Vikings 76-6 in the Super League this evening.

Catalan Dragons demolished Widnes Vikings 76-6 in the Super League today, running in 13 tries in the process.

The Dragons raced ahead in the first half in the Stade Gilbert Brutus, racking up a 30-point lead before the teams even went into the interval.

They continued in this fashion as the game went on, with Cardaces running in four tries, while Greenshields got a hattrick of his own.

Casty, Sa, Anderson, Blanch, Millard and Duport also touched down for the French side, while Kite got the solitary try for the visitors.

The result piles more pressure on to struggling Widnes, who drop to the bottom of the Super League, while the Dragons move up to fifth.
