Hull FC coach Peter Gentle has praised Danny Tickle after he scored four tries against Widnes Vikings.
Tickle helped inspire Hull to a 58-10 win at the KC Stadium.
Gentle revealed that he is delighted with the second-row forward's current form.
"Danny is in a very good run of form at the moment. He's a smart player, he mixes his game up and it is hard for opposition defences to get a read on what he is going to do," he said.
"I think our pack are really complementing each other and are sharing the workload. There were some really pleasing efforts in there from the boys.
"It is hard to keep your concentration when the scoreline is like it was and we had a few players playing out of position toward then end too, so I was very happy with the result."
Hull are currently sixth in Super League, while newcomers Widnes remain rooted to the bottom.
