Hull Kingston Rovers have announced that centre Liam Salter has put pen to paper on a contract extension running until 2017.
The 20-year-old, who has emerged from the Super League side's academy, has added three years onto his deal.
"The club approached me with regards to extending my deal and I had no hesitation in signing it," Salter told the club's official website. "I've grown up supporting the club and to have the opportunity to play here is a real honour for me."
Coach Craig Sandercock added: "I've coached many young kids during my time and his attitude is as good as any that I've come across previously."
Salter scored five tries in 23 league appearances during the 2013 season.
