Salford Red Devils forward Andrew Dixon has terminated his loan deal with Halifax and joined fellow Championship side Leigh Centurions.
The 24-year-old has penned a two-year deal with the Centurions after being released by the Red Devils.
"Andrew is a similar age to many players in the squad and fits in with my theme of developing this squad in a five-year block where these talented players can stay together," Centurions head coach Paul Rowley said on the club's official website.
"He is very well respected and has a wealth of experience. He works hard and is ambitious. I'm looking forward to working with him and to seeing him challenge for a place in our already talented squad."
Prior to his spell with the Red Devils, Dixon played for St Helens, making 67 appearances for the Saints and playing a part in the 2010 and 2011 Grand Finals.
