Tony Smith believes that there is more to come from his Warrington Wolves side following this afternoon's resounding victory against Salford Red Devils.
The Wire kicked off their Super League campaign with a 22-8 triumph at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, with four different players getting their name on the scoresheet.
Despite the comfortable margin of victory, Smith claims that Salford made life difficult for his men until they were eventually made the breakthrough on 26 minutes.
"Salford gave it a real dig and were targeting us," he told Sky Sports News. "They are under pressure from their chairman from the first game.
"We took time to break them down but then scored some classy tries and looked the better side. We were a bit loose with the ball at the start of the second half but we are going to be a hard team to beat. There is room for improvement."
Wolves, who find themselves top of the early standings, return to action on Friday night when they take on Hull FC.
