Danny Cipriani will be named in England's initial 26-man squad to tour New Zealand, according to a report.
The 26-year-old last played for his country in 2008 due to a falling out with then manager Martin Johnson, but the Daily Mail suggests that a return to the national side is on the cards.
Cipriani has enjoyed a fine season with Sale Sharks this season, while also reportedly impressing during a recent training camp.
Owen Farrell and Stephen Myler have been ruled out of the first Test against the All Blacks due to their participation in the Aviva Premiership final.
England coach Stuart Lancaster recently said that he was "open-minded" over a return to the side for the fly-half.
