Jonny Wilkinson and Toby Flood will go head-to-head in a closed-doors penalty shoot-out on Friday.

Jonny Wilkinson and Toby Flood will compete in a closed-doors penalty shoot-out at Eden Park tomorrow (Friday), the PA reports.

The competition will determine who will kick for England in their World Cup quarter-final with France on Saturday morning.

32-year-old Wilkinson has secured just nine from 20 shots at goal during the tournament, while Flood has managed 10 from 13.

There had been speculation that Wilkinson would be dropped from the clash in favour of Flood, but manager Martin Johnson has since confirmed that both players will start in order to give the team more options.

Kickoff on Saturday is at 8.30am UK.
