Harlequins 37-14 Sale Sharks

Harlequins sail to 37-14 victory over the Sale Sharks.

Harlequins maintained their winning record with a 37-14 victory at home to Sale Sharks this afternoon.

Ugo Monye struck early for Quins, with his third try in two matches.

Danny Cipriani then hit one out of his opening three penalties, shortly followed by a Richie Vernon try, capping of a sweeping move involving Richie Gray and Mark Cueto to give Sale an 8-7 lead.

Harlequins struck back 12 minutes later, as Nick Evans broke off a lineout to send Jordan Turner-Hall through, putting Quins 14-8 ahead at half-time.

Evans extended Harlequins' lead early in the second half with two well-taken penalties.

Danny Cipriani pulled back three points for Sale with an unconvincing penalty but Nick Evans once again responded to maintain the Harlequins' lead.

George Robson then scored his third try in three games to extend the Quins lead, before the impressive Mike Brown added another to give them a 37-14 bonus point win.
