Ireland squad hit by bug

Ireland's preparations for this Saturday's match against Canada suffer a setback as members of the squad come down with a stomach bug.

Some of Ireland's squad have suffered from a stomach bug ahead of this Saturday's meeting against Canada.

The unaffected members of the camp trained in Toronto last night but coach Les Kiss could face a selection dilemma if those who are ill aren't fit in time.

"We have just had a situation today where we will not have a full squad training as there is a little bit of unwellness in the squad, but that is just something you have to deal with when you travel and these little stomach upsets happen," said Kiss.

Ireland beat the US Eagles 15-12 in Houston at the weekend.
