World Cup winner Graham Henry and his assistant Steve Hansen have accepted an invitation to coach the Barbarians during their match against Australia at Twickenham next month.
The Kiwi pair, who guided New Zealand to World Cup success over France yesterday, will take over the Barbarians for the first time in their career on Saturday, November 26.
"This is a great coup for the Barbarians at this particular time," said Barbarians chairman John Spencer.
"Having seen at first hand in New Zealand in recent weeks the high regard in which both Graham Henry and Steve Hansen are held by the rugby fraternity at large, capped by the All Blacks being crowned as world champions, we are absolutely delighted that they are coming to the UK to coach the Barbarians."
Over 40,000 tickets have been sold for the match and Twickenham officials expect the fixture to be a sell-out.
