Wales skipper Sam Warburton is ruled out of the Six Nations clash with France with a trapped nerve in his shoulder.

Wales captain Sam Warburton has been ruled out of Saturday's Six Nations match with France with a shoulder injury.

The 24-year-old has been suffering from ongoing shoulder problems in recent months and the Welsh skipper has now been forced to miss out on the trip to Paris with a trapped nerve in the same area.

Ryan Jones will replace Warburton as captain for Saturday's match, which will be the 30th time that he has led out his country.

Wales will be hoping to bounce back from last week's 30-22 defeat to Ireland at the Millennium Stadium.
