Jamie Baker's Australian Open dream is over following a three-set defeat to Lukas Rosol in Melbourne.
The first set was a battle, as both players matched each other blow for blow.
It was Baker who made the first breakthrough, and he served for the lead. However, Rosol dug deep to force a tie-break, which he won 7-5 to snatch the opener.
Baker responded well, racing into a 3-0 lead in the second set. Once again he served for the set, but faltered at the final hurdle.
Rosol won three games in a row from 5-4 down to go two sets up over the Scot.
The Pole secured the early break in the third set, quelling any hope that Baker had of staging a comeback, before serving out 6-2.
