Carlos Moya is expected to be announced as the next captain of Spain's Davis Cup team tomorrow.
A spokesperson for the Spanish tennis federation (RFET) confirmed today that Alex Corretja's replacement would be announced tomorrow in Madrid but would not reveal whether or not it is Moya, according to Eurosport.
Moya, 37, who retired from the ATP Tour at the end of 2010, will be tasked with improving Spain's performance after they were surprisingly knocked out in the first round by Canada this year without star player Rafael Nadal.
Spain have won the title five times since the start of this millennium.
