Stanislas Wawrinka and Tomas Berdych have called on officials at the French Open to install lights at Roland Garros.
Both men lost out in the fourth round yesterday after having to complete matches that had begun the day before.
Swiss number two Wawrinka, 27, who was ousted by home favourite Jo-Wilfried Tsonga said: "I still don't understand why they don't have [lights] here, because every year it's the same problem, actually."
The two hard-court Grand Slams in America and Australia both have floodlit courts while Wimbledon now has lights that can be used under the retractable roof at its Centre Court.
Czech Berdych, who also lost a game that was suspended on Sunday and finished Monday, wasn't thrilled with the situation.
"As you see, every place you have at least lights. OK, we don't have to play like a night session, but at least to have decent lights [so] that you can finish the match," said the 26-year-old.
Tournament director Gilbert Ysern responded by saying that change isn't coming until at least 2017, when a retractable roof and lights are due to be installed on the main Philippe Chatrier court.
