German legend Boris Becker has said that Andy Murray is "very, very close" to winning his maiden Grand Slam title.
Becker, 43, said that the Scot needs to be more aggressive in the big games having lost three major finals, failing to win a set in each.
"For Murray to win a Grand Slam, it's not a question of technique or his actual game," Becker told BBC Sport.
"His attitude has to be much more positive. Once you're in a Grand Slam final, you're playing to win."
The German has picked up six Grand Slams in his career, including three Wimbledon titles.
Murray's three previous major defeats have come at the hands of Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, with the former edging the 24-year-old twice, once at the US Open, and again in Melbourne.
Becker added: "The players who beat him had a more positive and aggressive attitude once they were in the final. If he does that, I think he will win a Grand Slam in 2012.
"He's very, very close and that's the only missing ingredient."
Murray, who has been in good form recently, can win the biggest title of his career if he claims the end-of-season ATP World Tour Finals title in London this week.
