Former World number one Andy Roddick says that he has no regrets about retiring from tennis.

Former world number one Andy Roddick has insisted that he does not have any regrets over his decision to retire from tennis in September.

The 30-year-old, who beat Andy Murray in an exhibition match earlier this month, has admitted, however, that he does miss preparing for tournaments.

"To be honest, I don't know that it will really affect me until January comes around. The last 13 Januarys I've been in Australia. I haven't experienced January 8 in the United States for 15 years," Roddick told ESPN.

"You start to identify certain months with certain places, that's where you are. I wasn't jealous of the guys going on a 15-hour flight to Shanghai or wherever else. Once I see the guys over [in Australia], obviously I'll miss it a little bit."

Roddick secured 32 titles during his illustrious career.
