Roger Federer pleased with extended Paris run

Roger Federer claims that he is producing some of his best tennis after reaching the final of the Paris Masters earlier today.

World number four Roger Federer believes that he is producing some of his best tennis at the ongoing Paris Masters.

The 30-year-old was speaking after he defeated Tomas Berdych 6-4 6-3 earlier today to reach the final in the French capital for the first time his career.

As a result, Federer will become the first player to compete in all nine of the Masters 1000 finals tomorrow afternoon.

When asked if he was playing the best he ever had at Bercy Arena, the Swiss replied: "Yes, I think. Let's say it, yes, I do. It doesn't make any difference, but I think I'm more consistent now.

"I'm able to play several matches in a row, which I had a problem with before."

Federer will take on either Jo-Wilfried Tsonga or John Isner in Sunday's final.
