Roger Federer progressed to the third round of the Paris Masters with a comfortable 6-1 6-1 victory over Andreas Seppi this evening.
The world number two dropped one game in the first set, which the Swiss completed in just 19 minutes.
Seppi was unable to capitalise from four break-point opportunities at the start of the second set, and Federer recovered to claim an easy victory.
The win in Paris was Federer's 13th over Seppi in 14 encounters, with the Italian's only victory coming in the Australian Open earlier this year.
Federer will take on John Isner in the third round of the tournament.
