Feliciano Lopez eases past Joao Sousa

Spain's Feliciano Lopez wraps up a comfortable 6-3 6-4 win over Joao Sousa of Portugal in the first round of the Aegon Championships at Queen's.

Feliciano Lopez has secured a comfortable 6-3 6-4 win over Joao Sousa in the first round of the Aegon Championships at Queen's.

The Spaniard made a dominant start to the match, racing to a 3-0 lead before securing a double break to easily wrap up the opening set.

Lopez had to work harder in the second set though as the Portuguese tried to get back into the match, with the first six games going on serve.

The world number 14 eventually managed to make the most of a few poor serves from Sousa, getting a break on the board before serving the match out in the next game.

Lopez will play American John Isner in the next round.
