Britain's Laura Robson has reached the second round of the China Open with a 6-4 6-4 win against Kimiko Date-Krumm.
The 18-year-old took just one hour and 21 minutes to get the better of her Japanese opponent on Sunday.
However, Robson was on the backfoot initially as she was three games down in the first set, but recovered brilliantly to win it 6-4.
The second set against 42-year-old Date-Krumm was relatively easier for the British teenager, who reached the final of the Guangzhou Open just over a week ago.
Robson will now take on Spain's Lourdes Dominguez Lino in the second round in Beijing.
