Stanislas Wawrinka secures his place in the third round of the Miami Masters with a win over Spaniard Daniel Gimeno-Traver in three sets.

Number three seed Stanislas Wawrinka has earned a place in the third round of the Miami Masters with victory over Daniel Gimeno-Traver.

The 28-year-old began the match in impressive form as he cruised to take the first set 6-0, breaking Gimeon-Traver three times.

However, the Spaniard fought back in the second with a break of his own to get back on level terms in the match, taking the set 6-3.

Wawrinka found his form again and managed to see off the 28-year-old to advance to the third round of the tournament in just under 90 minutes.
