Tearful Agnieszka Radwanska pleased with final display

Agnieszka Radwanska holds back the tears after she is beaten by Serena Williams in the women's singles final at Wimbledon.

Agnieszka Radwanska had to fight back the tears following her defeat to Serena Williams in the women's singles final at Wimbledon.

The Pole went down 1-6 7-5 2-6 as Williams sealed her fifth title on Centre Court.

However, 23-year-old Radwanska was happy with her performance in what was a first Grand Slam final.

"These have been the best two weeks of my life," she told BBC Sport. "Of course it's always disappointing to lose, especially after a tough and good match but I'm very happy about my final."

Radwanska has now lost all three of her encounters with the American.
