Tomas Berdych has registered a straight-sets victory over Daniel Brands to progress to the last 32 at Wimbledon.
After an even first set, Berdych began to get the better of the German and prevailed with a 7-6 6-4 6-2 scoreline.
There were just 21 points during 12 service games and a tie-break during the opening set, but it was the number seven seed who went ahead in the match.
The former Wimbledon finalist created six break-point opportunities in the second set, but he only needed to take one to move a set away from a place in the third round.
After falling a break down in the third set, Brands's interest in the match began to drop and that allowed Berdych to quickly seal his passage to the next round.
