British number three Katie Boulter has won her first Wimbledon match to book her place in round two of the competition at the expense of Veronica Cepede Royg.
The 21-year-old, who is ranked 122nd in the world, edged a close contest 6-4 5-7 6-4 against the Paraguayan.
Boulter joins her fellow Britons Johanna Konta and Katie Swan in round two of the women's event, while Kyle Edmund also progressed in the men's.
Naomi Broady and Gabriella Taylor, however, were knocked out by Garbine Muguruza and Eugenie Bouchard respectively.
British teenager Jay Clarke, who made his Grand Slam debut at Wimbledon, also fell at the first hurdle.
