AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati has heaped praise upon his teammate Thiago Silva following the Rossoneri's vital 2-0 victory away at Parma.
Goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Urby Emmanuelson at one end helped Milan to victory at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
However, Abbiati has said that it was the Brazilian who was instrumental in his side keeping a clean sheet at the other end.
"Thiago Silva is the best defender in the world," Abbiati told the club's official website. "Tonight here again, he saved everything!"
Victory means that the Rossoneri retain a four-point cushion at the top of Serie A with ten games remaining.
