The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Arsenal eye possible reinforcements.
The Gunners spent more than many expected last summer - most notably their club-record purchase of Nicolas Pepe - but were more reserved in January as they focused on bolstering their defensive options.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Emirates Stadium.
Wednesday morning's Arsenal transfer talk news roundup:
Arsenal 'want Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare after signing Gabriel Magalhaes'
Arsenal are reportedly planning a double raid on Lille this summer after turning focus to midfielder Boubakary Soumare.
The Gunners are already on the verge of signing centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes from the French club in a £27m transfer.
Once that deal is finalised, Foot Mercato claims that Arsenal will then go after Gabriel's Lille teammate Soumare, who is into his fourth season at the club.
Soumare is said to have been targeted by Mikel Arteta as an alternative to Thomas Partey after reaching an impasse in talks with Atletico Madrid.
Arsenal and Lille have been in regular talks over the past 18 months, with the North London outfit breaking their transfer record to sign Nicolas Pepe from the Ligue 1 team last year.
Arteta's men begin their 2020-21 campaign next weekend with a Community Shield clash against Liverpool at Wembley.
Gabriel Magalhaes agent confirms imminent Arsenal move
The agent of Lille centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes has all but confirmed that his client is on the verge of completing a move to Arsenal.
The 22-year-old underwent a medical at Arsenal's training ground yesterday and confirmation of the £27m deal is expected to arrive soon.
Gabriel was also wanted by Manchester United and Napoli, but his agent Guilherme Miranda has reportedly confirmed that he turned down more lucrative bids to join Arsenal instead.
Guilherme Miranda (agent of Gabriel Magalhaes) tells me:

"Arsenal was nowhere near the best proposal [money wise]. Gabriel chose them over more lucrative offers because Edu convinced us of the project. It's 100% because of Edu Gaspar and Arteta."
Gabriel is expected to put pen to paper on a five-year deal worth £80,000 per week at the Emirates Stadium.
