Jack Wilshere to return for Swansea City clash, Mikel Arteta ruled out

Mikel Arteta will miss Arsenal's visit to face Swansea City this weekend, while Jack Wilshere has recovered from injury and illness to be named in the squad.

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that midfielder Jack Wilshere will be included in Arsenal's squad for this weekend's match against Swansea City.

The 22-year-old has been suffering with a knee injury recently, and missed the Gunners' dramatic 3-3 draw with Anderlecht in the week through illness.

Wilshere will return for the visit to South Wales, although Mikel Arteta has been ruled out having limped off in the Champions League clash last time out.

"Arteta will be out for Sunday," Wenger told the club's official website. "He has a mild hamstring strain and he will be out for a short period because it's a grade one. He should be back after the internationals. Jack is alright, he is back in the squad for Sunday."

Arsenal, who are currently fourth in the Premier League table, will also be without long-term absentees Mathieu Debuchy, David Ospina and Mesut Ozil, with Wenger confirming that the trio will not be available "before or straight after the international break".

Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud are expected to return to training within the next couple of weeks.
