Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp has confirmed that he would love the opportunity to return to the club as a coach in the future.
Bergkamp, now assistant to Frank de Boer at Ajax, enjoyed an 11-year stint with the North London giants before hanging up his boots in 2006.
"I have just started my career at Ajax as an assistant coach, being part of the Ajax philosophy, trying to get players through the system," he told reporters.
"We just started that, so I don't think now is the time to leave that aside and do something else, but in the future I would love to come to this country, to this league and this club [Arsenal] especially."
The Dutchman was present outside the Emirates Stadium this afternoon for the unveiling of his statue, joining the likes of Tony Adams and Thierry Henry as Arsenal icons to be immortalised in bronze form.
