Arsenal's Olivier Giroud confident of winning Premier League title

Olivier Giroud is confident that Arsenal can win the Premier League, despite a heavy upcoming fixture list.

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is confident that he and his teammates are capable of winning the Premier League title this season.

It has been suggested that the Gunners could fall in their title charge with a tough fixture schedule ahead.

Arsenal's next few games include playing Liverpool twice, Bayern Munich twice and defending league champions Manchester United.

"We have to show people that we want to answer [our critics] on the pitch and nothing more," Giroud told the club's official website. "If people don't think we can finish first it is not my problem, but I know we have a good chance to win the league."

Arsenal currently top the standings with a two-point lead over Manchester City and Chelsea.
