Lazio striker Miroslav Klose has reportedly become a target for Arsenal after their failure to sign Julian Draxler from Schalke 04.
Arsenal look unlikely to meet Draxler's £37m release clause, and the German outfit are unwilling to sell the 20-year-old for less than the amount stated in his contract.
According to The Express, that could see manager Arsene Wenger make a move for the veteran striker, who has scored five times in 16 appearances for Lazio this season.
Wenger believes that the 35-year-old would provide adequate cover for Olivier Giroud as the Gunners attempt to challenge on three fronts for the remainder of the campaign.
