Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil reportedly continued playing with a damaged hamstring before being substituted during his side's Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
The German international was replaced with Tomas Rosicky after feeling discomfort at the break during the Gunners' 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena, which booted them out of the tournament due to a 3-1 loss on aggregate.
According to the Daily Star, Ozil, whose recent performances have been widely criticised, picked up the injury midway through the half and continued playing for over 20 minutes.
Manager Arsene Wenger claimed after the game on Tuesday that Ozil is likely to spend a "few weeks" on the sidelines.
