Ray Parlour: 'Jose Mourinho went too far with Arsene Wenger'

Arsenal legend Ray Parlour says that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho went too far when criticising Arsene Wenger recently.

Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has said that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho went too far when criticising Arsene Wenger recently.

The Portuguese coach claimed that Wenger specialises in failure when speaking in response to the Arsenal boss, who had earlier claimed that Mourinho was scared of losing.

"There is no code of conduct for managers but I was involved in what used to go on between Arsene and Sir Alex Ferguson, and this was as bad as that," said Parlour, according to The Metro.

"I thought Jose went over the top. Arsene has had his little say back and he'll concentrate on the football. He won't let it affect him. I think Jose is great for the Premier League and he can say what he likes, can't he?"

Mourinho's Chelsea currently sit at the summit of the Premier League table.
