Aaron Ramsey not giving up on Arsenal FA Cup, Premier League double

Aaron Ramsey says that he has not given up hope of seeing Arsenal win the FA Cup and overhaul Chelsea's Premier League lead to clinch a surprise double.

Aaron Ramsey has insisted that an FA Cup and Premier League double is still on the cards for Arsenal this season.

The Gunners can move one step away from back-to-back FA Cup titles by beating Reading in this afternoon's semi-final at Wembley.

There is significantly less buzz around their league bid, however, with Arsene Wenger's side seven points adrift of leaders Chelsea, who also boast a game in hand.

With the Blues scheduled to face Manchester United and Arsenal over the next seven days, though, Ramsey refuses to believe that it is a bridge too far.

"The double? Yes, that is still a possibility," the Welshman told reporters.

"We are just trying to win our remaining games. We are on a fantastic winning run and that's all we want to keep on doing.

"It's going to be difficult. Chelsea have still got a lot of points so they will have to slip up a few times for us to catch them so it will be difficult -- but it's still possible."

Ramsey scored a dramatic extra-time winner to help Arsenal defeat Hull City in the final of the competition last season.
