Real Madrid are reportedly pondering a move for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger if current manager Jose Mourinho leaves at the end of the season.

Real Madrid are reportedly considering appointing Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger as the club's new boss if Jose Mourinho leaves the club.

The former Chelsea coach, who oversaw his Spanish side's 2-2 draw with Espanyol yesterday, has been tipped to leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season.

It is understood that the hierarchy in Madrid are keen to poach Wenger from the Gunners since the 63-year-old began experiencing pressure on his job at the Emirates due to his side's dismal campaign, according to The Express.

Recent reports have claimed that Wenger will consider his future at Arsenal when the season comes to a close.
