Arsene Wenger praises Jack Wilshere contribution

Arsene Wenger praises the contribution of Jack Wilshere during Arsenal's 2-1 win at Aston Villa.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised the contribution of Jack Wilshere during the team's 2-1 win at Aston Villa on Monday night.

The Gunners returned to the top of the Premier League table as goals from Wilshere and Olivier Giroud saw the visitors come away with the spoils.

"He has found his change of pace back," the Frenchman told Arsenal's official website.

"His game is about that and his penetration because he's not only a passer but he's guy who is incisive with the ball. It's his strengths so from that you need to be at the top of your game physically."

Arsenal continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they welcome Fulham to the Emirates Stadium.
