AC Milan are reportedly lining up a £13m January swoop for Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny.
The 27-year-old was informed by Gunners boss Unai Emery over the summer that he had no future at the Emirates Stadium, which led to a loan move to Besiktas before the European deadline passed.
The Egypt international has made three appearances for the Turkish outfit this season and is due to spend the entire 2019-20 campaign with the Istanbul giants.
However, according to reports in Italy, Milan are lining up replacements for Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie and have identified Elneny as a potential signing at the start of 2020.
Besiktas also have the option to purchase the midfielder as part of their agreement with Emery's side, although it has been suggested that the club have not been overly impressed by his form this term.
The Egyptian - contracted to Arsenal until the end of the 2021-22 campaign - has made 89 appearances for the Gunners since a 2016 move from Basel.
